Volunteer Opportunities
Oakton Church is always in need of volunteers to support its ministries. Our nominations process for 2010 is almost complete, and we still have a few critical roles to fill. Please consider volunteering your time and talents in one of the roles listed below:
* Reserve Member to the Annual Conference Meeting, June 2010
* At Large Member of the Church Council (2)
* Nominations (Committee on Lay Leadership) Committee Member (2)
* Oakton Christian Preschool Board Member (1)
* Stewardship Coordinator
* Sunday School Coordinator
* Bulletin Board Coordinator
If you are interested in using your gifts, talents, passions and abilities to further the Kingdom, please let us know where your aptitudes and interests lie. Be assured we will work with you to identify a role that can be accomplished in accordance with your interests, availability and schedule requirements. Help Wanted - Sunday School
Exciting opportunities are always available with our Sunday School program! No skills, or prior experience needed. On the job training provided. Flexible hours - work as much or as little as you want. Work at home options available too. All positions provide a complete Christian benefits package. Immediate place in the following positions:
* Nursery attendants
* Teachers for children, youth and adults
* Sunday School administration
* Curriculum review and purchasing
* Arts and crafts supply
* School support
* Program coordinators
* Food service
