Vocal Groups
THE SANCTUARY CHOIR is for adults of all ages who enjoy singing and prefer worshiping at the 10:55am service. They rehearse from late August until late June one evening a week, and Sunday mornings before worship. The Sanctuary Choir presents a cantata or musical program each December, and also provides special music at our Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday services.
THE GLORY SOUND youth choir is for youth in grades 7 through 12 and they present music, throughout the year, at both worship services. They rehearse from September through May and often present a special musical either in December or in the spring.
THE CHAPEL CHOIR is for children in grades 2- 6. They also rehearse September through May, and perform monthly at the 10:55am service. This group works not only on vocal music, but uses a variety of Orff instruments as well as Choir Chimes in their musical presentations.
THE CHERUB CHOIR is for children ages 3 – 6 (pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade). Rehearsals are part of Sunday School, and they provide special music several times during the year at the 10:55am worship service.

Handbell Groups
THE ALLELUIA RINGERS handbell choir is for youth and adults who may or may not have previous ringing experience. The group rehearses September through May and generally rings once a month. They also perform during our annual Dessert Handbell Concert.
THE CARILLON RINGERS handbell choir is geared more toward the adult with previous ringing experience, and strong music reading abilities. They also rehearse September through May and perform once a month. Each year they ring during our annual Dessert Handbell Concert, and occasionally they participate in area handbell festivals.

Bluegrass Ministry
Do you enjoy bluegrass music? Perhaps you play the fiddle, banjo or even the harmonica. Come share your interests and talents as this "grassroots" ministry takes off at Oakton Church. We meet in the small chapel on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Be sure to check the church calendar to confirm the date of our next session. Admission is free and you do not need to be a member of the church to perform or attend.
