Oakton UMC’s Severe Weather Policy
We follow the schedule of the Fairfax County Public School system, so if FCPS
buildings are closed, our building is closed for all activities.
Our building may suddenly close during bad weather.
We send out a church-wide email about this as soon as the decision is made.
We have in-person worship and live-stream worship available each Sunday morning.
We follow the guidelines of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church: www.vaumc.org
