Vacation Bible School
Summer 2010
Monday thru Friday, August 16 -- 20
Join us for 2010 VBS. Each night we begin with a light meal in the large hall at 5:30. At 6:00 everyone gathers in the sanctuary for music (Sing & Play Splash). The Preschool Crew then returns to their room, while the elementary crews begin their 20-minute rotations of Crafts, Games, Bible Voyage and Chadder the Chipmunk’s Sail-Away Cinema (a DVD based discussion segment). All groups return to the sanctuary for our Floating Finale around 8:00 PM to recap the night’s adventures. Parents pick up their elementary children from the sanctuary and their preschoolers from the Preschool room.
Elementary VBS is open to all rising 1st through 6th graders. Children will be grouped into mixed-aged crews.
NOTICE: Our Preschool VBS is limited to ten children ages 3 – 5. Children must be potty-trained. Due to our limited space, priority is given to members of our OUMC church family and preschool.
WANT TO HELP WITH THIS IMPORTANT MINISTRY? We will need crew leaders, station leaders and assistants. Even if you can’t help for all five nights, we invite you to participate on one or two evenings.
