Playground Dedication - Saturday, May 10 at 1:00PM
We’re excited to announce a special celebration Saturday, May 10th at 1:00PM. We will be holding a ribbing cutting ceremony for our new playground! We hope you’ll join us for this joyful moment as we give thanks and pray over this new place of laughter, connection, and growth.
Graduate Sunday - Sunday, June 1 at 10AM
Join us on Sunday, June 1 at 10AM during worship as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates! We’ll take a moment in the service to honor and bless those who are completing high school, college, or advanced degrees. Come show your support and help us send them into their next chapter with love and encouragement.
Chair Yoga For Mobility & Ease - May 7, May 14, May 28 and June 4 f
rom 10:30–11:30 AM (Please note: there is no class on May 21)
Join us for a another round of Chair Yoga classes. Support your body through an accessible chair yoga class that focuses on mobility, balance, strength, and stress relief.
Whether you're new to yoga or looking for a low-impact way to stay active, these sessions are perfect for all levels.
Class Series: $72 or $20 drop in

Vacation Bible School - Monday, July 28 - Thursday, July 31
Registration is now open for this year's TRUE NORTH Vacation Bible School at Oakton UMC! Dinner will be served each evening
Classes for ages 3 through rising 6th graders.
Students entering 7th grade and beyond are invited to volunteer as crew leaders! Point kids to Jesus, a faithful friend we can always trust.
Join us on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As we trek the tundra, we’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what's true in our wild world today. Guiding us toward Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He's our True North!
VBS Kids Performance and Splash Party will be held on Sunday, August 3 at 10 AM - all participants, volunteers and their families are invited to join us for worship as the children perform a few of their favorite VBS songs for the congregation and then have a party outdoors with water games, popcicles and more!
VBS Kids Performance & VBS Celebration - Sunday, August 3 at 10AM (during/after worship)
Join us on Saturday, August 3 at 10AM during and after worship as our VBS kids share what they’ve learned with a special performance! After the service, stick around for a Popsicle Playdate filled with fun — including water games, yard games, and a one-hour foam party by NovaFoam! We’ll also have our sunshine arch, octopus splash zone, and reusable water balloons to keep the summer vibes going strong. Come ready to get wet and celebrate an amazing week of VBS fun!
