Fall Kickoff and Potluck - September 13th after worship
Join us for our Fall Kickoff and Potluck on Sunday, September 13, immediately following worship! Bring your favorite dish to share as we enjoy good food, great fellowship, and celebrate the start of a new season together. Stick around for fun with a moon bounce for the kids. Everyone is welcome!
Sunday Bible Study - September 20th immediately after worship in the Pastor’s office
Join us for Sunday Bible Study, beginning September 20 immediately following the worship service. Gather with us in the Pastor’s office for a time of learning, discussion, and fellowship.
The Lunch Bunch- September 23rd at 12PM in the Small Hall
Have some free time during the workday? Whether you’re retired, work a flexible schedule, or are simply available, join The Lunch Bunch for lunch, conversation, and fellowship. It’s a casual opportunity to connect, catch up, and enjoy a meal together. Everyone is welcome!
Tables of 8 - Registration is now OPEN!
Tables of 8
Tables of Eight is a fun opportunity to get to know one another.
Six to eight adults or 2-4 families will be assigned to a group that will meet to share a meal together 3 or 4 times over a three to four month period.
There are three options with Tables of 8 - you may sign up for one or all of them if want to eat with different groups!
Dining IN: Dining IN groups meet in one another's homes. Each member or pair of members provides a portion of the meal and hosts provide the main dish when it is their turn to host.
Dining OUT: Dining OUT groups generally meet in RESTAURANTS rather than in each others' homes.
FAMILY STYLE: Family groups are a way for parents and children to have dinner together and get to know one another without having to worry about getting a sitter! Groups can decide together where they want to meet - in homes? in restaurants? a park? Whatever works best for all involved!

Community Clothing & Costume Swap - Saturday, October 17th, 10am -12pm
Join us at Oakton United Methodist Church for a Community Clothing & Costume Swap on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM–noon! Bring gently used clothing and costumes in all sizes and for all ages, then browse and take home new-to-you finds. Whether you’re looking for everyday clothes or a fun Halloween costume, there’s something for everyone. This event is free and open to the whole community—come reduce, reuse, refresh, and give your pre-loved items a new home!

Lamb Center Lunches
On the second Saturday of each month, OUMC works together to provide and serve lunch to the guests of the Lamb Center. The Lamb Center is a day shelter for the homeless in Fairfax County. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Angie Erschens.

Youth Group Meet-Ups
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month for Youth Group meet-ups! After worship, we'll walk to lunch together from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a post-lunch discussion. It's a great opportunity to connect and grow!
On the last Sunday of the month, we have fun outings like laser tag and escape rooms. Don’t miss out—invite your friends and join us for food, fun, and fellowship!
